Sunman man identified as victim of weekend crash on I-74

Dearborn County, IN — The identity of the man killed in a crash early Saturday on I-74 in Dearborn County has been released.

Indiana State Police say 29-year-old Justin Horton of Sunman was driving eastbound on the interstate near West Harrison when – for unknown reasons – he lost control of his car, which went across the median and into the westbound lanes, where it rolled several times.

Horton was the lone occupant of the car and was ejected.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

State Police say toxicology results are pending, and the crash remains under investigation.

ISP was assisted by the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office, the New Trenton Fire Department, Harrison Fire Dept/EMS, the Dearborn County Coroner’s Office, and Alig’s Towing.
