Sue Stock, 70, of New Alsace, passed Monday, September 3, 2018. She leaves her beloved husband, Jim, and her loving family Steve (Kate) Stock of Milan and Krista (Tom) Hutzel of St. Leon. She also leaves her grandchildren Lainey Stock, Taylor Stock, Brody Stock, Cecilia Hutzel, Elijah Hutzel and Grady Hutzel. Her brothers: Bob (Debbie) Richards of Clermont, Florida, Bill (Sandy) Richards of Oxford, Ohio, and Jim (Diane) Richards of Cleves, Ohio. Her sister Jeanne McDaniel of Ft. Worth, Texas.
Susan is preceded in death by her son Danny and her parents Dorothy and Robert Richards, her brother-in-law Tom McDaniel.
Jim and Sue met on a blind date at a card party. He took her home in his GTO and that is what did it! They have been married 46 years.
Sue was active as a swim mom, with the Adoration Chapel and made her living by crafting.
Sue was a co-founder of Compassionate Friends which is a support group for parents that have lost children. She and Jim founded this group after losing their five year old son; it has since gone nationwide.
Visitation is Thursday, September 6, 2018, from 5-8 at Andres-Wuestefeld Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial is Friday, September 7, 2018 at 10:00 at St. Paul Catholic Church, All Saints Parish, New Alsace, Indiana.
