Oldenburg, IN—INDOT reports that Stop signs were recently installed on S.R. 229 in Oldenburg at Washington Street to improve the safety of pedestrians crossing the highway. All motorists will now stop at the intersection. Curb ramps will be installed in the coming weeks.
Oldenburg Marshal Bill Dramann notes that he has seen several people blow through the sign without stopping since it became a four-way stopping intersection.
