Stephen W. Lewis, 54, of Lawrenceburg passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024, in Cincinnati, OH.
He was born July 13, 1970, in Lawrenceburg, IN, son of the late Robert Lewis and Sondra (Harmeyer) Lewis.
Steve attended St Johns Lutheran Church Bellaire. He was a member of Bright Christian Church. Steve loved to help people. He served his community for over 25 years in Bright, IN as a Fireman and EMT, and was an EMT and Security Guard at Hollywood Casino. He was also a substitute teacher at East Central.
Steve was a computer buff, loved to play video games, was a Bengal’s and Nascar Fan. He collected beer steins. In his younger years, Steve and Tammy loved to go fishing. He enjoyed cook outs, often displaying his skills at BBQ grilling. Steve also enjoyed telling jokes and making people laugh. He Loved to spend time with his family and will be greatly missed.
Stephen is survived by his loving spouse of 22 years, Tammy (Bryant) Lewis, Brother, Wesley (Monica) Lewis of Cin, OH; Nephews, Zach Lewis, Jonah (Nicole) Lewis, Andrew Lewis and Kyle Bryant, Niece, Kayla (Norman) Richardson and Danielle Bryant; Father & Mother-In-Laws, Ray & Margaret Bryant; Brother-In-Law, Billy (Paula) Bryant, and Sister-In-Law Lisa Bryant.
He was preceded in death by Father, Robert Lewis; Mother, Sondra Lewis; brother-in-law, Jimmy Bryant.
Friends will be received Thursday, August 15, 2024, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, IN.
Services will be held at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, following visitation at 1:00 pm with Pastor Phil Garber officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery (Bellaire), Lawrenceburg, IN.
