Stella Mae Johnson, age 82, of Brookville, Indiana died Friday, June 28, 2024 at Mercy West Hospital in Green Township, Ohio.
Born January 17, 1942 in Addyston, Ohio she was the daughter of the late William B. & Clara (Windner) Watson.
Stella was retired having been a Nurses Aid at Brookville Healthcare Center.
She was a member of Greater Vision Ministries in Metamora, Indiana; in her leisure time she enjoyed watching gameshows, movies, doing word search puzzles, reading her bible, and taking care of her dog.
Survivors include three children, Cindy K. Smith, Margo D. Woods, Stacy Johnson all of Brookville, Indiana; two brothers, David Watson of Campbellsburg, Kentucky and Louis Watson of Virginia; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Tessie Colegate and Virginia Woods; and two brothers, Clarence Watson & Glen Watson.
Family & friends may visit from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. on Monday, July 1, 2024 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
Bishop Brandon Blevins will officiate the Funeral Service on Monday, July 1, 2024, 12:00 Noon, at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home. Burial will then follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
