BATESVILLE, IN — There is one less dining option in Batesville for area residents and hungry travelers.
The Steak ‘n Shake restaurant near the I-74 interchange off State Road 229 has been shuttered.
Signs are posted on the door of the restaurant that read, “This location permanently closed. Thank you Batesville for supporting us.”
Signage branding the location has also been removed from the building along with entrance and exit signs.
The restaurant in Batesville began serving its famous steakburgers and milkshakes when it opened in January 2014.
