Statewide cases top 1,100 on Thursday

Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) has reported that 1,110 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Thursday. A total of 96,854 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 1,103,038 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at an 8.8% positive rate and 4 new deaths were reported for a total of 3,110 Hoosier deaths.

Dearborn County has a total of 579 cases and 28 deaths reported (up 2 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 417 positive cases and 35 deaths (up 6 new cases), Franklin County has 279 positive cases and 25 deaths(up 3 new cases), and Ripley County has 248 positive cases and 8 deaths (up 2 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 13 new positive cases.
