Batesville, in. — Recently, I presented two family-owned businesses in Batesville with a Senate Certificate of Congratulations.
Schmidt Bakery (pictured left), located at 125 Batesville Shopping Village, has been serving baked goods to community residents for 55 years.
Harmeyer’s Market (pictured right), located at 203 S. Eastern Ave., has been a staple grocery store in Batesville for 80 years.
Generations of family members have worked hard to keep these businesses up and running, and I am proud of their dedication to Batesville. Congratulations!
