State Road 350 near Osgood reopens following months-long bridge project

(Ripley County, IN) – A bridge project in Ripley County is finished, which means a road closure is no more.

INDOT has reopened State Road 350 over Plum Creek.

The road east of Osgood was shut down in February.

(Ripley County, IN) – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Force Construction Company plans to begin bridge construction as early as Monday, February 20, on State Road 350 over Plum Creek between U.S. 421 and State Road 129.

The bridge is located two miles east of Osgood and is expected to remain closed until mid-June.

Drivers should use the official detour route, which follows U.S. 421 to U.S. 50 to State Road 129, or seek an alternate route.

County Road 25 and North Baseline Road will have access from State Road 350 during construction.

INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use caution and avoid distractions in and near active construction zones.

All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
