Indianapolis, IN — Google will pay the State of Indiana $20 million as part of a settlement.
Attorney General Todd Rokita’s office says the settlement stems from allegations that the company conducted deceptive location tracking practices.
Rokita sued the company last January over how Google collects data.
“This settlement is another manifestation of our steadfast commitment to protect Hoosiers from Big Tech’s intrusive schemes,” Rokita said. “We will continue holding these companies accountable for their improper manipulation of consumers.”
