Madison,IN—Daily road closures are planned on S.R. 62 and S.R. 7 in Jefferson County over the next two weeks for tree and brush removal. Work may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.
January 16, 17, and 21 : State Road 62 will be closed daily from 8am-3p east Canaan between Barbersville Creek Road and Barbersville Road (known locally as Warfield Hill) for brush and tree removal. Detour for this closure is State Road 56.
January 23: State Road 7 will be closed between 9am and 3pm between Cragmont Street and State Road 56/Main Street( known locally as Hanging Rock Hill) in Madison for brush and tree removal. Detour for this closure ios US Highway 421.
