Brookville, In. — Single-lane traffic restrictions will begin Monday, June 4 at the St. Mary’s Road bridge over Whitewater River, located west of U.S. Highway 52/State Road 1 on the west side of Brookville.
Temporary signals at either end of the 8-span structure will control one-direction-at-a-time traffic for up to 90 days while workers install a 3.8-inch polymeric deck overlay. R. A. Myers Construction of Muncie is the prime contractor for this $453,232 bridge rehabilitation Local Public Agency (LPA) project sponsored by Franklin County. Work includes bridge joints and approaches.
