St. Louis students receive NJHS award

BATESVILLE, Ind. — St. Louis School students Kayla Stone, Olivia Raab, and Benjamin Moster were selected as recipients of the 2017 National Junior Honor Society Outstanding Achievement Award!

They will receive a $500 award, which will be placed in a college savings account.

Each year the National Junior Honor Society gives out 500 awards nationally with the goal of helping families get a head start on saving for college.

The national committee looks at areas including candidate’s academic achievements and study habits, leadership roles, community service and citizenship, and character.

According to the National Junior Honor Society website, over one million students across the nation participate in official NJHS chapters in all 50 states.
