Batesville, In. — Students in the fourth and seventh grades at St. Louis School received bird feeders and seed as part of the Indiana Audubon Society’s “Indiana for the Birds” program. Fifty Indiana schools were chosen to receive these kits courtesy of a grant from the Efroymson Family Fund.

The seventh-graders have been studying bird characteristics as well as bird adaptations and completing various projects regarding birds in Indiana. They have even viewed live bird cams to study our birds more closely.

Currently, our feeders are hung on school grounds where the students may enjoy our feathered friends.
