The 8th grade Cardinals Basketball Team won their second Oldenburg Academy Championship in a row Saturday, November 15.
The Cardinals were led in scoring throughout the tournament by Robert Raver while Nathan Eckstein led the team in rebounds. Sam Geisting, Gus Cooper, Alex Geers, Aiden Hornbach, and George Ritter turned in overall good performances. The Cardinals were without the services of their starting center, Kevin Salatin, due to injury.
The Cardinals are now 5-1 on the season.

The St. Louis 7th Grade Boys Basketball team competed in the OA Classic at Oldenburg Academy Saturday defeating St. Mary’s 30 to 28 and losing to St. Nicholas 32 to 20.
Adam Cox had a game high 18 points in the first game.
The 7th grade Cardinals are now 2 and 3 on the season.
