On April 28, 2025, St. Louis Catholic School participated in a tri-meet against Batesville and North Decatur. The St. Louis boys team had a strong showing, finishing second overall with 30 points—edging out North Decatur, who scored 23.
Henry Giesting led the charge in the field events, taking first place in the shot put with a throw of 32′ ½”. He also earned second in the discus (82′ 8″) and placed third in the long jump (14′ 3″), contributing significantly to the team’s total.
The 4×800 meter relay team—composed of Salvador Schutte, Nathan Fuentes, Blaise Frey, and Simon Brelage—finished second with a time of 12:09. In the 110-meter hurdles, Schutte placed third (26.78), followed closely by Johnny Tekulve in fourth (27.05).
Ben Kranz sprinted to fourth place in the 100-meter dash (13.94) and later claimed fourth in the 400-meter dash (70.52). Simon Brelage placed third in the 1600-meter run with a time of 6:31, while Nathan Fuentes added a fourth-place finish in the 800-meter (3:07.6). Blaise Frey also earned third in the 2400-meter run with a time of 9:59.06.
The 4×100 meter relay team—featuring Johnny Tekulve, Ross Lieland, Nicholas Lieland, and Anthony Meer—took second place, finishing in 64.11. The 4×400 meter relay team of Jordan Brelage, Ross Lieland, Nicholas Lieland, and Ben Kranz also claimed second with a time of 5:16. Henry Giesting added another fourth-place finish in the 200-meter dash (30.37).
In the girls’ division, St. Louis placed third overall. Reagan Siefert scored the team’s lone point, finishing fourth in the high jump with a mark of 4’0″.
