St. Louis 7th Grade Boys Basketball Advances to the Semi-Finals

The St. Louis 7th Grade Boys Basketball team advanced to the semi-finals of the SEI tournament with a 31-26 victory over Jac-Cen-Del. The Cardinals started out strong behind Cam Anderson and jumped out to an 11-6 1st quarter lead. Both offenses hit the snooze button in the 2nd quarter when St. Louis had a 13-10 halftime lead. The 3rd quarter was a back-and-forth affair as both teams traded baskets en route to a 21-18 lead for The Cardinals. Jac-Cen-Del took the lead early in the 4th as they hit back-to-back 3-pointers. Cam Anderson tied the game up with a nice drive to the basket. Then Hunter Young put the Cardinals up 3 with a three-point basket. The Cardinals were able to close the game out with some free throws for the 31-26 victory. 

Cam Anderson led the Cardinals in scoring with 13 points. Hunter Young and Ryan McGuire had 8 points each. Grant Hartwell added 2 points.
