South Ripley varsity baseball finished the regular season with a 6-0 win over the Shawe Memorial Hilltoppers on Thursday.
Offensive leaders for the Raiders were:
- Mason McNew – 2 for 3, home run, run scored, 4 RBIs, and 2 stolen bases.
- Gabe Stone – 2 for 4, double, 2 runs, RBI, and a stolen base.
- Shawn Riehle – 1 for 4, single, and a run.
- Ethan Schmaltz – 1 for 4, single, and an RBI.
- Austin Hodge – 1 for 3, single.
- Brogan Buchanan – 1 for 2, single, run scored.
- Landon Werner – 1 run.
Three pitchers combined on the shutout.
Bode Block pitched four innings, gave up 4 hits, struck out 7, and walked 2.
Stone tossed two frames, surrendering a hit, while fanning four, and not issuing a walk.
Trevor Castner went one inning with 1 K and 2 bases on balls.
