MILROY, Ind. — Contractors for the Indiana Department of Transportation plan to close State Road 244 west of Milroy on or after Monday, May 9 for up to 60 days to replace a box culvert channeling Little Hurricane Creek under the highway.
A signed detour will direct state road traffic around construction via Interstate 74 and State Road 3.
All work on the contract is expected to be complete before October.
