“Spring forward” early Sunday with the start of Daylight Saving Time

Southeastern IN — We “spring forward” this weekend when Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 am Sunday.

You’re urged to set manual clocks ahead one hour before going to bed Saturday night.

It is also recommended that you replace the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.

The time change means more daylight in the late afternoon.

We’ll do another clock reset this fall when we switch back to Standard Time on November 5.
