Batesville Middle School volleyball swept Benjamin Rush at the Dawg Pound last night. It was the 7th Bulldogs winning in two sets, 25-15, 25-13. The BMS 8th grade squad posted its 10th win of the year with a two-set victory, 25-14, 25-19.
The Cincinnati Reds kick off the final road trip of the season tonight with the first of three in Atlanta against the Braves. Lefthander Brandon Williamson (4-4, 5.56 ERA) starts for the Reds. The Braves will counter with righty JR Ritchie (1-3, 5.03). Coverage begins at 6:45 on 103.9 FM.

The Indiana Fever entertain the Minnesota Lynx in the first of back-to-back games between the two teams to round out the WNBA regular season. It’s the Fever’s final home contest; the two teams will meet in Minneapolis in the regular season finale on Thursday. Tipoff tonight in downtown Indianapolis is at 8 p.m.
