Sports Daily Digest September 13, 2024

Oldenburg Academy rolled over Richmond 9-1 in a girls’ soccer match at the Graveyard heard on WRBI. Aubrey Baker recorded a hat trick to lead the Twisters, and scored a total of four goals.

Greensburg shut out Hauser 9-Nil. Genevieve Smith recorded her sixth hat trick of the season, and scored four total goals. Sophomore Kadence Rich also tallied a hat trick for the Pirates.

Oldenburg Academy boys JV soccer blanked Triton Central 4-Nil. Ryan Hautman with a hat trick for the Twisters.

In boys’ tennis, it was Greensburg over South Dearborn 4-0.

In varsity volleyball, Greensburg topped South Dearborn in 3 sets. And South Decatur downed Southwestern in straight sets.

It’s Week 4 of the high school football season. Coming up tonight Franklin County is at East Central. You can hear the game on 103.9 FM and the WRBI app starting with pregame at 7:10. Rob Moorhead and Patrick Kolks will have the call.
