Batesville opened the girls basketball season last night with a 67-50 win at home over Triton Central.

It was Oldenburg Academy big over Greenwood Christian 61-18.

St. Louis 8th grade boys basketball opened their season with a 28-15 win over Jac-Cen-Del last night.

In 6th grade boys hoops, it was St. Lawrence over St. Louis 34-21.

High school football sectional championships are on the line tonight. Batesville entertains Lawrenceburg in Class 3A Sectional 30. Coverage begins with pregame at 6:45 on 103.9 FM and the WRBI app. Terrance Arney and Tom Snape will have the call…East Central is home against Franklin Community in Class 5A Sectional 14. The Bengals fell to the Baltimore Ravens 35-34 on Thursday Night Football. Joe Burrow was 34 of 56 passing for 428 yards and four touchdowns. Ja’Marr Chase had 11 catches for 264 yards and 3 TDs. Cincinnati drops to 4-6 on the season.

In the NBA, the Pacers visit the Charlotte Hornets tonight. Tipoff is at 7.
