The Reds on Thursday acquired righthanded pitcher Zach McCambley from the Miami Marlins in exchange for outfielder Rece Hinds. The 27-year-old McCambley has spent the 2026 season with the Marlins Triple-A affiliate in Jacksonville. Hinds was designated for assignment by the Reds on May 17.
2015 and ’16 Brickyard 400 winner and two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch passed away Thursday at the age of 41. A cause of death was not listed, but Busch was hospitalized this week with a “severe illness.” He was preparing to race in Sunday’s Coca Cola 600.
Just three days from the drop of the green flag for the 110th running of the Indianapolis 500. Drivers had yesterday off once again, prior to final practice today during Carb Day. Defending champ Alex Palou is the pole sitter for Sunday’s race with Alexander Rossi and David Malukas joining him on the front row.
