The 101st Ripley County boys Tournament tipped off last night at South Ripley, as you heard on WRBI. Batesville knocked off Jac-Cen-Del 62-44. And Class 2A #5 South Ripley bounced Milan 75-47 in the nightcap. Cole Henry led the Raiders with 21 points. He also became the all-time leading rebounder in South Ripley program history. The Raiders improve to 11-0 and will take on the Batesville Bulldogs in the championship game scheduled for Saturday night.
The Pacers knocked off the Chicago Bulls 129-113 last night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Pascal Siakim led Indiana with 26 points. The Pacers are now 20-18 on the year.
Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week yesterday for his performance in the team’s 19-17 win over Pittsburgh on Saturday. Hendrickson totaled five tackles, including 3.5 sacks, and added one defended pass against the Steelers.
