Sports Daily Digest February 12, 2025

North Decatur beat Milan 83-60 in boys basketball heard last night on the Sports Voice. Cooper Parmer led the Chargers with 22 points while teammate Owen Rennekamp added 19. The Indians were paced by Micah Norman’s 22 points followed by Ethan Clark with 14.

In middle school girls hoops, it was North Decatur 7th grade over Milan 24-17. Zoey Bingham led the way for the Chargers with 12 points.

Batesville High School seniors Sophie Gesell and Alyson Peters signed collegiate letters of intent yesterday. Gesell will continue her academic and athletic career at Trine University. Peters will do the same at Franklin College.
Gesell will be attending and playing basketball at Trine University, while Peters will be doing the same at Franklin College.

The Indiana Hoosiers snapped their five-game losing streak by upsetting #11 Michigan State 71-67 in East Lansing. IU improves to 16-10 overall and 6-8 in the Big Ten.

The #7 Purdue Boilermakers fell at 20th ranked Michigan 75-73. The Wolverines take over the top spot in the Big Ten standings. Purdue falls to 19-7 overall and 11-3 in conference play.

The New York Knicks bested the Pacers 128-115 last night in downtown Indianapolis. Indiana visits the Washington Wizards tonight in a game you can hear on WRBI. Broadcast time is 6:30.
