Franklin County got past Class 1A #13 North Decatur 43-41 in girls basketball heard last night on WRBI. Elsewhere, Connersville topped Batesville 46-38. Sophie Gesell led the Bulldogs with 16 points…Columbus North bested East Central 56-41…Class 3A #1 Greensburg boat raced South Dearborn 90-22…It was Shawe Memorial 64, South Ripley 51. Lexi Franklin scored 16 points, Katie Miller added 12 and Claire Samples contributed 10 for the Raiders…And South Decatur grounded Hauser 49-36.
In boys C team basketball, Indian Creek rolled over North Decatur 44-16.
In boys middle school basketball, Batesville took two at East Central. It was the Bulldog 7th graders over the Trojans 45-33, while the BMS 8th grade team won 45-25…St. Louis swept visiting St. Lawrence. It was the Cardinals 7th grade team over the Panthers 26-17. And the St. Louis 8th graders came out on top 46-3.
