South Ripley Swim Team at the Ohio River Valley Conference

Raider Swim showed up today for ORVC and took big leaps. Four records were broken, along with two individual and one relay conference champ placements. The guys’ team placed 2nd. This is commendable with only five swimmers! The lady swimmers did very well with only two swimmers. Overall, the team placed 5th.

~400 Free Relay new record of 4:00.14 Landon Saylor, Thomas Eaglin, Jordan Davis, Evan Eaglin. This relay was an epic event to witness as Evan swam a 52.99 to bring in the win over Milan. This relay team pushed hard Landon Saylor swam a 58.08 a PR and Thomas swam a 1:02.89 PR. This was an 8sec improvement.
~Brady Begley set a new school record in the 100 Breast with a time of 1:09.67
~Evan Eaglin and Elizabeth McKittrick both placed 1st in the 50 Free. Note Evan defeated his Milan competitor by .06 of a second. Another nail biter.
