South Dearborn Schools donate to area hospitals

Aurora, IN—South Dearborn Community School Corporation is using its innovative technology to help area hospital workers. The school corporation houses several 3D printers, which are capable of printing all types of items from an assortment of materials. With the help of Five Star Technology, South Dearborn Schools were able to design and print 314 ear guards. The ear guards will be used by healthcare workers to protect their ears from the elastic straps of the face masks they are required to wear while working. The ear guards were recently donated to Highpoint Health Hospital in Lawrenceburg, Margaret Mary Health in Batesville, and Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg.
