Osgood, IN — People who are involved with and have attended the Ripley County 4-H Fair this week have welcomed the full-blown event back in a big way after last year’s fair was scaled back dramatically because of the coronavirus pandemic.
“It’s gone extremely well,” said Ripley County 4-H Extension Director David Osborne. “Good crowds, good shows, great weather! It’s just nice to have a fair that sounds like a fair, smells like a fair, and feels like a fair.
“Just the Junior Leader ice cream stand…we sold as much ice cream in three days as we sold all week last year,” Osborne added. “Things are going well. If you’re itching to get out of the house, come down and see us.”
However, time is running out: the Ripley County Fair concludes its run tomorrow at the Fairgrounds Park in Osgood.
