Shirley R. (Cummins) Wullner, 89, of Lawrenceburg passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Shady Nook Care Center. Shirley was born on Saturday, March 23, 1935, in Lawrenceburg; daughter of Elmond and Dorothy (Carter) Cummins. Shirley married the love of her life, Bill Wullner, on August 20, 1954, and he preceded her in death on December 13, 2020. Shirley worked as a teacher’s aide at the Lawrenceburg Community School District for 40 years. She loved the beach, sand, and sunshine. Shirley was an avid basketball fan, she especially loved watching the Indiana Hoosiers. She enjoyed going out to eat with her friends, going shopping, and hosting pool parties. Most of all Shirley loved to spend time with her family.
Shirley will be missed by her daughters Terri Conklin of Houston, Texas and Tracey (Joe) Schnebelt of Greendale; brothers Shelby (Pam) Cummins of Greendale and Bobby (Nancy) Cummins of Louisville; grandchildren Courtney Conklin, Kelsey (Aaron) Miller, and Taylor Schnebelt; and great-grandchildren Campbell Conklin, Madden Miller, Memphis Miller, and Major Miller.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Elmond and Dorothy Cummins and brothers Gary Cummins and Ricky Cummins.
