Shirley Marie Means, 81

Shirley Marie Means, 81 of Greensburg passed away on October 26, 2021. She was born on November 16, 1939 in Richland, Indiana the daughter of Vernon and Alta Hankins Ruble. She went to Milroy High School. Shirley married Richard “Kenny” Means on September 12, 1956. She was a school bus driver for 12 years and owned the Means Produce Stand since the 70’s. She was most proud of being a mother and grandmother. Shirley was a member of the Sandusky United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: Children, Shelly (Doug) Harrison, Dawn (Tim) Meulen, and David (Nancy) Means; Sisters, Bonnie Wagner and Nancy Cloud; 13 Grandchildren; and 27 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Kenny Means, Son, William Means; Brothers, Jack, Steve and Jim Ruble; Sisters, Rosemary Wildey, Betty Shook, and Donna Makofka.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral at 12:00 pm. Reverend Laura Apostol will be officiating. Burial will follow at the East Brook Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Our Hospice or to the Sandusky United Methodist Church.
