Shirley Lou Turcott passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at The Chateau of Batesville. She was 87 years old. The daughter of Arthur and Hazel (nee: Fowler) Casteltine was born on October 27, 1933 in Aurora, Indiana.
Shirley graduated from Aurora High School. She retired from the United Community Bank where she worked as a teller and in the accounting office for many years. Shirley was an avid sports fan of all sorts, and was always sure to catch the Reds, Bengals and Notre Dame games too. She enjoyed bowling and spending time reading. Most of all she loved to be with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Misty (Charles) Svara of Greenwood, Indiana and son, Christopher (Lisa) Turcott of Cincinnati, Ohio; along with her grandchildren, Kyle, Kelsie & William Svara, Rowan Threnody and Benjamin Turcott.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Turcott, her brother, Donald Casteltine and infant brother, Lester Paul Casteltine.
Her wishes were to be cremated. There are no services set at this time.
