Shirley Kay Griffin (Rucker), 64, of Moores Hill, Indiana, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She was born January 23, 1957, in Milan, IN, daughter of the late Jerry Griffin and Jeanette Griffin.
Shirley was a Pentacostal Christian. She loved gardening. She was an animal lover, especially her cat, “Tid Bit”, Shirley was lovingly called the cat lady. She enjoyed watching vampire shows and Netflix, and loved listening to Elvis and old country. Shirley had a huge loving heart and a very fun sense of humor with a contagious laugh that touched everyone.
Shirley is survived by her daughters, Amanda “Mandy” Golden (son-in-law Cory Clift) of Moores Hill, IN, Rebecca Goolsby of Lawrenceburg, IN; brother, Jerry Griffin III; grandchildren, Mariah Golden, McKenzie Costa, Jayden Neece, Braison Goodpaster, Southern Johnson, Serenity Harper and Kyra Clift; several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Jeanette, and a brother, Jerry Griffin II.
Friends will be received Wednesday, January 12, 2022, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, IN. 47001.
Services will be held at immediately following the visitation at 7:00 pm.
