Shirley Ann (O’Neal) Bolling

Shirley Ann (O’Neal) Bolling, 84, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away peacefully, Saturday, December 11, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born June 10, 1937, in Dearborn County, IN, and was the daughter of the late Harry O’Neal and Alberta (Noble) O’Neal. She married William B. Bolling Jr. on Nov. 9, 1957 and was blessed with 5 children. Shirley worked at Meyer’s Grocery, Ross Manor, Hoosier Horseman, Hasting’s Department Store and retired from Dearborn County Jail, in 2001. She was a longtime member of St John Lutheran Church, Bellaire, and Lawrenceburg American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Shirley enjoyed embroidering, quilting, bowling, line dancing, Karaoke and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed attending her 1955 class reunion lunches.
Shirley is survived by her loving children, Cheryl Long (Jamie Howard) of Lawrenceburg, IN, Roy (Paula) Bolling of Moores Hill, IN, Mark (Regina) Bolling of Aurora, IN, James (Bridgett) Bolling of Rising Sun, IN, Christopher Bolling of Dillsboro, IN; brothers, Harry (Linda) O’Neal of CA, Rick (Debbie) O’Neal, and Tony (Theresa) O’Neal, both of Dillsboro, IN; Grandchildren, Timothy (Jacqueline), Michael (Leah), Kaitlyn, Brett, Zachary, Christalyn, & Tia; great-grandchildren, Payton, Taylor, Haden, and Jackson; many nieces and nephews; Caregivers, Vicky, Leah, Amber, Lee, Connie, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by Father, Harry O’Neal; Mother, Alberta (Noble) O’neal; Husband, William B. Bolling , Jr.; sister, Harriett White and nephew, Josh O’Neal.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021, 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at St. John Lutheran Church, 4937 State Road #48 Lawrenceburg, Indiana, 47025.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, at 2:00 pm. immediately following visitation at the church, with Pastor Garber, officiating.

Burial will take place in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery (Bellaire).
