Shirley Ann Ledford Stewart, age 75 of Vevay, Indiana, passed away at 2:14 p.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay, Indiana. She was raised in Coolidge and Casa Grande, Arizona where she attended school. Shirley was the daughter of the late, Billy and Alline (Melton) Ledford. Shirley was united in marriage to Phillip Michael Stewart on December 31, 1975 in Casa Grande, Arizona. Shirley was employed in the medical field for various places as a CNA. She enjoyed watching TV, knitting, crocheting and coloring.
Shirley is survived by her sons, Norman “Chad” (Lisa) Boatman, Bobby (Keri) Dixon of Carlton, Oregon and Mitchel (Christina) Dixon of Brookings, Oregon; her daughter, Sherry (Willy) Smith of Versailles, Indiana; her grandchildren, Shane, Tiffaney, Taylor, Montana, Destiny, RoxAnn, Colbee, Kahleb, Tanner, Aylea, Samuel, Tasha, Jerry, Noelle, Mickie, McKenzie, Monte, Ally and Mitchell Jr.; her 16-great-grandchildren; her brother, Billy (Rosanne) Ledford of Perry, Arkansas; her sister, Ruby Walker of Hillsboro, Oregon and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her grandson, Jerry Arthur Lewis, II. and her sister, Lois Burley.
Shirley’s wishes were to be cremated and no services are being held at this time.
