Shelly A. Houston Billingsley, 52 of Versailles, passed away at her home Thursday January 19, 2017. Shelly was born Wednesday September 30, 1964 in Lawrenceburg, IN; the daughter of John and Geraldine (Barrett) Houston. She married Robert Billingsley April 27, 1996 and he survives.
Shelly was a homemaker. She loved to go fishing, watching westerns, collecting rooters, wolves and Indians and like to color as a hobby. She most enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Shelly is survived by husband: Robert Billingsley of Versailles; Daughters: Toni (Shane) Peterson of Vevay; Samantha Young and Fiancée Billy Huff Jr. of Harrison, OH; Katie (Stanley) Holt of Vevay; Mother: Geraldine Houston of Delaware, IN; Brothers: John (Jen) Bowers of Idaho; Nathan (Lori) Nickell of Indianapolis; Matthew (Brenda) Nickell of Columbus, OH; Sisters: Shannon Dehner of Milan; Sherry (twin) Calvert of Delaware, IN; Sharla Houston of Moores Hill; Sheila (Junior) Houston Harmon of Milan; Pam (Dallas) Cook of TN; Pat (Marvin) Milbourn of TN; 12 Grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles. She was preceded in death by her father: John “Eddie” Houston, mother-in-law: Carolyn Kraus and father-in-law: William “Bill” Kraus.
Funeral service will be 11 AM Tuesday January 24, 2017 at Laws-Carr-Moore funeral home with Paul Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Moores Hill. Visitation will be 9-11AM Tuesday also at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the family.
