Brookville, In. — Indiana Conservation Department officers rescued a Shelbyville man from Brookville Lake after being submerged for about 15 minutes Monday.
Emergency workers responded around 2:38 p.m. and found other swimmers recovered the body of Fernando Julian, 21, and pulled him to shore.
Julian was treated at the scene by EMS and airlifted to University of Cincinnati Hospital. His condition is not available.
The incident remains under investigation.
