Sheila Jones, 77, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024. She was born October 17, 1946 in Batesville, Indiana, daughter of the late Charles and Betty (Abdon) Stiles.
Sheila enjoyed eating out with the “Breakfast Club.”
She loved being grandma and great grandma.
She worked as a Operator at United Telephone until she retired and then she drove a school bus for Sunman-Dearborn Community Schools.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Rodney E. Jones; IN, son, RC (Amy) Jones of Batesville, IN; brother, Kenny (Susie) Stiles of Greendale, IN; grandson, Gunter (Timmi) Jones; granddaughter, Jordyn (Evan Gunter) Jones; 2 great grandchildren, Gus and Mac Jones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Betty Stiles; daughter, Robin Jones; brother, Bobby Stiles; sister, Millie (David) Behr.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 10 am to 1 pm at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 1 pm.
Interment will follow in the Gibson Cemetery, Bright, Indiana.
