Rushville, In. — The Rushville Police Department is investigating an alleged sexual assault involving a staff member of the Rushville Baptist Temple. A search warrant was served at the church on North Spencer Street on Friday, September 22.
Police say a woman and her daughter came forward with allegations then another woman told police she was molested nearly 30 years ago.
Because the congregation will no longer cooperate with police they are looking for tips. Any information about sexual misconduct can be left confidentially by calling 765-932-3907.
No charges have been filed.
