(Southeastern IN) – The area could be in for some rough weather this afternoon and evening.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued until 4 p.m.
Southeastern Indiana was placed under a slight, or two out of five, risk for severe weather.
The National Weather Service says showers and thunderstorms are possible today, with the greatest activity expected this evening into the overnight hours.
A few thunderstorms may be severe with damaging winds and large hail being the primary threats. Forecasters say an isolated tornado can not be ruled out.
The greatest potential for severe storms to occur will be between 7 p.m. and Midnight.
