(Rush County, IN) – A man who admitted to the murder of a missing Rush County teen has been sentenced to 57 years in prison.

Patrick Scott entered the guilty plea earlier this year in the death of 17-year-old Valerie Tindall, whose body was found buried in a box on property he owned in the northwestern Rush County community of Arlington.

She went missing last June.

Scott pled guilty in January to a Murder charge in exchange for lesser charges being dropped.

A Rush County judge accepted the plea deal earlier this week.
