
UPDATE (Thursday, June 4 6:04 a.m.) – Decatur County REMC says, as of last night that internet connectivity has been restored.
Southeastern Indiana REMC says there’s no timeline for the restoration of service.
In the meantime, if you’re an SEI REMC member and you experience an electric outage, you’re asked to report it through your Smart Hub app or by texting OUT to 844-959-3031.
UPDATE: Decatur County REMC’s Power Stream Fiber is also affected by the outage.
(Southeastern Indiana) – SEI Fiber is currently experiencing a widespread internet outage affecting customers across the region. The outage appears to be related to an issue outside of the SEI Fiber network, and phone service also remains unavailable. Updates will be posted on Southeastern Indiana REMC’s website and social media channels as more information becomes available.
