A Laurel woman is behind bars and more arrests are expected, according to police.
The Franklin County Sheriffs Department executed a search warrant for Norma Wren, 34, of Laurel, at the Pearl Street Apartments in Laurel on Friday around 10:30p.m.
The warrant stemmed from an investigation in 2013 that was conducted by the Franklin County Drug Task Force.
Wren was arrested on the charge of Dealing in a Schedule I,II,or III controlled substance as a class B felony. She is currently lodged in the Franklin County Security Center in lieu of $25,000 bond.
If convicted, Wren could receive up to 20 years with the Department of Corrections and faces fines up to $10,000.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.
