
Born on September 24, 1952, in Greensburg, Indiana, Sara was the daughter of Orville and Lucille (Moulton) Brewsaugh.
Sara was a 1970 graduate of North Decatur High School and later graduated from James Beauty College. She married the love of her life, Gregory Allen Myers, on September 9, 1973. They shared many happy years together until his passing on March 25, 2022.
A member of Sandusky United Methodist Church. She began her career as a beautician, a profession she enjoyed for many years, before working at Gecom for 17 years. She later served in the cafeterias at both Greensburg Community Schools and North Decatur Schools. Sara concluded her working career at Walmart, where she made many lasting friendships.
After Greg passed away, Sara moved to Willows of Greensburg and she meet so many friends that truly became family. She was the Bingo Queen, the cheerleader for other residents and staff, and even the President of the Resident Council. She will be remembered for her caring heart and her friendly smile. She cherished spending time with her family and friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her kindness, warmth, and dedication to others will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Survivors include: daughters, Susan (Josh) Wiseman and Jennifer (Brian) Keplinger; grandchildren, Sam (Morgan) Wiseman, Jacob (Catlian) Wiseman, Hannah Wiseman, Owen Wiseman, Presli Keplinger and Hadli Keplinger; great grandchildren, Andi Wiseman, River Wiseman and Magnolia Wiseman; sisters, Shirley Schwering, Janice Johnston and Ruth Flack. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Greg, brothers Dick, Jack, Don, Jerry, Roger, and Bob Brewsaugh.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026 from 10:30 am until the time of the funeral at 12:00 pm at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Dennis Spears will be officiating. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Activities Department at Willows of Greensburg.
