Sandra Gale (Morris) Rumsey, 62, of Milan passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024, at her home. Gale was born on Sunday, September 16, 1962, in Seymour, Indiana; daughter of Sam and Amanda (Riley) Morris. Gale worked at DJs in Milan as a bartender for 20 years and was known as the best bartender around. She was a member of the Milan American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing poker, playing pool, and enjoyed being on a motorcycle and going on poker runs. She loved being with her friends and hosting parties. Most of all, Gale dearly loved her grandchildren.
Gale will be missed by her sons Cody Rumsey and Zack Rumsey of Aurora; daughter Bobbi (Joey) Vinup of Aurora; sisters Mary (Jerry) Bowles of Florida, JoAnn Griesehop of Greensburg, and Brenda (Terry Berry) Shinkle of Moores Hill; grandchildren Bailee, Brylee, and Brinlee Vinup; and many nieces and nephews.
Gale was preceded in death by her mother Amanda Morris; sister Vonda McClanahan, brother Sammy K. Morris; and brothers-in-law Tony Griesehop and Shorty McClanahan.
There will be a Celebration of Life held near the end of January. Service dates and times will be updated. Memorials may be given in honor of Gale to the family.
