Batesville, In. — Safe Passage, Inc. has organized a Teen Support Group.
The ten week program for 14 to 17-year-olds will focus on teen dating violence, asset building and activities aimed at preventing future unhealthy relationships.
Statistics from the Center for Disease Control say 1 in 4 teens have reported verbal, physical, emotional or physical abuse. Only 33 percent of teens involved in an abusive relationship ever tell anyone about their experience.
