DECATUR COUNTY, IN — It’s “one and done” for a local township trustee.
Christian Rust has announced he will not run for re-election as Washington Township Trustee after serving one term in office.
Rust said he plans to devote his full attention to a business venture he’s involved in, as well as spend more time with family.
Meantime, fellow Republican Candee Redelman has filed to run for the Washington Township Trustee seat now held by Rust.
And Elizabeth Fry has filed to run on the GOP side for Marion Township Trustee.
The primary election is set for May 3.
