Rushville, In. — If you purchased fuel in Rushville recently officials say you should check your bank statement for fraudulent activity.
Investigators believe there is a skimming device but don’t know where it is or who may have planted it.
Here is the statement from the Rushville Police Department:
The Rushville Police Department has received several reports of fraudulent bank activity. It appears that a skimming device has been used locally. RPD encourages everyone to check their bank accounts for unauthorized transactions. Contact RPD if you notice unauthorized transactions. Investigators are currently working to determine the area of compromise.
