Rushville Cross Country

The RCHS Boys and Girls XC Teams traveled to Batesville on Tuesday evening for one last regular season meet.  Both teams placed 3rd behind East Central and Batesville.  It’s been a great season watching these kids improve each meet.  Post season will be no different, we are right where we need to be to finish strong.

Leading the way for the Lions was the duo of Hunter Parmerlee and Ryan Schindler placing 7 and 8th overall.  Close behind were Charlie Sterrett (9), Isaac Krodel (12), and Isaac Schelle (18).  All with close to lifetime bests again.

For the Lady Lions with the absence of Olivia Wehr, Senior Sofia Kemple stepped up to lead placing 15th.  The next 6 places went to the Lady Lions with Jentri Wallace (16), Maddy Hankins (17), Mia Norvell (18), Cyndi Tush (19), Yanitza Norvell (20), and Ashley Whitham (21).

A quick congratulation and great job to the Milan Indians for snagging a huge win in the small school division and to note in the overall combined scoring they upset everyone today with the lowest score of the night.   A great win for them and just at the right time in the season.

The next competition for the Rushville Cross Country Teams will be Sectionals on Saturday, October 8 in Connersville.
